are you studded?

I have to say installing studded tires on a bike was the greatest thing I did this winter. It allows biking in the winter with a minimal wipeout factor. I had resisted using studded tires, telling myself my handling skill will get me through, and my balance would be heightened. (I also used to wipeout at least once a year, usually on "black ice" in a shaded turn or close to the curbs/cracks. All the fears are eliminated with studs! We have been riding on the bay of GB and the local smaller rivers. Conditions are awesome now after the deep freeze and minimal snow. WEIRD is going out this weekend to ride the ice. We will be waiting until mid day to take advantage of the warmth. Ride along.
